Research summary
Employment & Wage Policy and social security system in the aged society with a low birth rate My research theme is how factors and causes of low birth rate in Japan can be resolved, such as long working hours, polarization of regular and non-regular workers in employment, concentration of burdens of raising children and work on women, being unbalanced in income and expenses for raising children including education costs in households. In recent years, I have been particularly interested in wages of those who work based on public contracts, and the level and the way of determination of minimum wages from viewpoints of "Living Wage".
