(1)"Dynamic study on the formation process of "New Public Commons" through promotion of community sport" (2)"Clinical study on the development of "customer complaint management theory" in sport management" (3)"The issues and perspectives of service marketing research in sport league business" (4)"Study on organizational knowledge creation in comprehensive community sport club management (1) “Dynamic study on the formation process of “New Public Commons” through promotion of community sport” (4) “Study on organizational knowledge creation in comprehensive community sport club management” “The Basic Act on Sport” (5 chapters, 35 Articles and supplementary provisions) that clearly states “sport right” as “living a happy and fulfilled life through sport is the right of the people”, was put into force in August 24, 2011. With this provision for sport right, it is believed that the duty to promote sport by the government and local public organizations, and the obligation (autonomy) of the residents for the promotion of community sport is being questioned. This is, so to speak, that the formation of a “new public commons” through the promotion of community sport is being asked, as stressed in the “new public commons” declaration (Cabinet Office, June 4, 2010) and “The Sport Basic Plan” (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, March 30, 2012). The major purpose of this study theme is to conduct a dynamic case analysis focused on the management of comprehensive community sport club on the relationship between the promotion of community sport and the “new public commons” from the point of view of “social governance” and the “process of creating organized knowledge” (2) “Clinical study on the development of “customer complaint management theory” in sport management” According to the National Consumer Affairs Center of Japan (2009), although this is only a tip of an iceberg, the number of complaints have increased by approximately sixfold in the 20 years from FY1998 (to 938,720 cases in FY2008), indicating a “complaint society”, where the consumer will easily express complaints, dissatisfactions and grievances. This background also applies in the sport business, and theories and arts in sport management founded on “customer relationship” will be required from now. The purpose of this study theme is to closely examine the theory and arts for “customer complaint management” in sport management, especially on three issues of ① Service recovery strategy system, ② Customer complaint behavior model, and ③ Conceptual model of service quality and customer satisfaction, dissatisfaction, from the viewpoint of “complaints and the real need of the customer has a back to back relationship” (Sato, 1984). (3) “The issues and perspectives of service marketing research in sport league business” In recent years, attendance of mega sport events, like the Olympics and the World Cup are increasing dramatically and a form of consumption, “Sport tourism” to enjoy both the event watching and tourism has emerged. On the other hand, although attendance for professional sport leagues, such as baseball and J-League remain flatl, in particular, attendance on Rugby Top League as a corporate sport league is showing a declining trend. In order to increase the player population and spectators in professional and company sport leagues, the concept of service marketing strategy is essential. The purpose of this study theme is to clarify how service marketing strategy should be to improve “event quality”, focused on sport league business.
