Research summary
Generation of vertebrate retina and systems biology of functions Many of our recognition and behaviors in our daily life depend on the visual information. Retina that belongs to central nerve system is the only nerve tissue that converts light information to neural information. It is known that the visual information is processed in the visual cortex of our cerebrum but an important process is performed in our retina at first.
