Research summary
Environment information measurement and biomechanics ○Environment information measurement. In recent years, global warming is drawing attention as a serious social issue. For this phenomenon, thunder activities and rainfall are effective observation indexes in addition to changes in atmospheric temperature. This study aims at establishing a signal measurement processing technology for quantifying global environmental changes based on electromagnetic field measurement processing accompanying thunder activities and by also incorporating meteorological data. In themes related to disaster prevention, studies will also be made for geo-electromagnetism phenomena measurement processing methods observed prior to the occurrence of a large-scale earthquake and signal measurement processing studies such as body detection and identification using radar technology. ○Biomechanics This study deals with bio-electromagnetic engineering field which focuses on effects of electromagnetic fields on living systems, and with bio-signal processing research. The former will conduct research in the assessment of effects of transitional field variance to the living systems (theme in pulse power issue domain) and further onto influence analysis on living systems using neural models, aimed at establishing quantification of the effects of electromagnetic field on to living systems. The latter aims at elucidation of human autonomic nerve and recognition functions through the measurement processing of living signals such as EEG and blood flow.
