研究概要
I specialize in financial literacy education, as well as computer-assisted language learning (CALL), online learning, and mobile learning. My interdisciplinary research explores how technology can enhance education across diverse fields, from personal finance to language acquisition, focusing on accessibility and practical application.
In financial literacy education, I focus on empowering individuals—particularly expatriates and underserved populations—to achieve financial independence. My work addresses key topics such as investing, tax planning, estate management, and leveraging technology to improve financial understanding. I am also deeply interested in informal learning communities, including the FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) movement, and their role in promoting financial education.
In the fields of language and online education, I have conducted extensive research on integrating technology into language teaching and learning. My work includes developing innovative strategies for using mobile and online platforms to enhance learning experiences, improve student engagement, and expand access to educational resources. This research aligns with my interest in educational technology, where I investigate the impact of artificial intelligence, digital tools, and virtual environments in reshaping traditional teaching paradigms.
As a certified financial educator and co-author of the Think Big for Business series, I have been featured on financial independence podcasts, delivered webinars on personal finance, and presented at conferences on financial planning for expatriates.
