Research summary
Photonic application for optical information technology and biomedical imaging Light is used in a wide variety of applications including communications, information processing, data storage, energy, healthcare, medicine, and manufacturing. The group engages in fundamental and applied study on photonics, focusing on nonlinear optics with the aim to harness light. Our research involves optical device fabrication and advanced optical microscopy for minimally invasive medical diagnostics. The group is engaged in interdisciplinary areas of education and research, spanning optics, photonics and electronics.
