Research summary
Econometric Analysis of Waste Management and Material Cycles I have been researching about waste management and material cycle empirically from the view point of environmental economics. I use some econometric methods to evaluate waste management and recycling policies. I have been used some cross-sectional and panel datasets of municipal waste management in Japan and foreign countries to do following research: 1) Cost analysis of waste management and material cycle focusing on regional management and public¬¬–private partnerships in waste management in Japan; 2) Examination of the effect of waste incineration taxation and weight-based pricing on municipal solid waste in Flanders, Belgium; 3) Price analysis of waste plastics of package and containers markets.
