Research summary
Clarifying the anatomical/morphological characteristics of the human foot and its role in physical activities in daily living and athletic events. My research focuses on anatomical/morphological characteristics of the human foot, with particular interests in foot posture and morphological profiles of foot muscles. My main research methods are morphological measurements of the musculoskeletal system using magnetic resonance imaging (T1) and ultrasound imaging, and muscle functional measurements using magnetic resonance imaging (T2), electromyography, and muscle strength measuring devices, etc.
